IndexerLabs is designed for unpublished manuscripts, page proofs, and production files that should not be pasted into consumer AI tools.
No third-party AI processing
Customer manuscripts are not sent to third-party AI providers such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or similar model/API providers.
Our indexing models run on IndexerLabs-controlled infrastructure. Manuscript text is processed entirely inside our own backend systems and on GPU servers we own and control through Hetzner.
No training on customer manuscripts
IndexerLabs never uses customer manuscripts to train or fine-tune our models.
Uploaded documents are used only to provide the indexing service requested by the user. They are not added to training datasets, used for model improvement, or used to build future models.
Infrastructure and service providers
IndexerLabs uses a small number of third-party infrastructure and utility providers to operate the service:
- Hetzner for server hosting and GPU infrastructure (Data Privacy, Data Processing Agreement, Subcontractors)
- Resend for transactional email delivery (Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum, Subprocessors)
- Vercel Analytics for website analytics (Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum, Subprocessors and Security Portal)
- Cloudflare for bot protection (Privacy Policy, Customer DPA, Subprocessors)
These providers are used to operate the website, application, infrastructure, and email systems. They are not AI model providers, and customer manuscripts are not sent to OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or other third-party AI services.
Document retention and deletion
Documents remain available in the editor until the user deletes them.
When a document is deleted from the dashboard, the associated uploaded files are permanently deleted from our systems.
Encryption
Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
Uploaded documents are stored securely and are accessible only through authenticated user accounts.
